Meet Our Core Team

Dave Hasson
PRESIDENT
Dave Hasson has been President of Western Safety Consulting, for over 20 years and earned his Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) accreditation in 2009. Dave has mentored, coached, and trained safety professionals throughout his career in safety management. Prior to starting Western Safety Consulting, Dave was a Corporate Safety Advisor in the oil and gas sectors where he provided strategic direction to various industrial clients. 
Jessica Fleck
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Jessica joined Western Safety Consulting in 2025, although her connection with the company goes back much further. Through her family’s oilfield company, she has been a client of Western Safety Consulting since the company first began, giving her a strong understanding of the industry and our services.
With a background in emergency nursing, Jessica brings a unique perspective to the safety field. Her experience working in high-pressure environments strengthens our team’s focus on risk awareness, incident response, worksite investigations, training and worker wellbeing.
Jennifer Lopez
COMPLIANCE & REGISTRIES/ PRODUCTION & DEVELOPMENT LEAD
Jennifer has been a member of the Western Safety Consulting team since 2011, starting as Production and Development Assistant before taking on her current role. In that time she’s mastered our processes for developing, formatting, printing, and delivering training courses and materials. Jennifer can produce custom materials with a professional touch and deep understanding of industry needs built on many years of administrative and hands-on experience.
